Paneer Butter Masala

I always  used to think Paneer Butter masala requires lots of tomato and onion for the gravy!During our Coonoor vacation this year, we stayed at MGM Hill Worth Resorts. We asked the chef to prepare Paneer Butter masala and Kids simple loved it. After tasting this dish for over a decade,  I came to know from this chef that there is no tomato in this dish, they just add colour...dish seemed to be really easy..let me share this with all of you. I have prepared this dish without adding the artificial colour!

Ingredients

Paneer-200 gms cut into cubes
Onion-2 Big
Cashews-8-10
Fresh cream-1/2cup
Kitchen king masala-1 Tablespoon(you can use channa masala too)
Butter- 1 Tablespoon

Procedure

1.Boil the onions and cashew until onions are cooked.

2.Once it cools, grind it to a smooth paste.

3.In a Kadai add butter, once it melts cook the onion/cashew paste.

4.Simmer and cook for 5 minutes.

5.Add the kitchen king masala and salt and simmer again for 5 minutes

6. Add the paneer cubes and the fresh cream.

7.After adding the cream don't cook for too long.Just a boil is enough.
8.Garnish with tomatoes and fried onions.
