This recipe I made with left over bread. On a rainy day, with only cabbage and onion lying untouched, I tried this recipe..It turned out great.
Ingredients
Brown bread/white bread - 4/5 pieces
Gram flour - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1/2 cup
Shredded vegetables like cabbage, spinach, carrot and onion - 1 cup
Green chillies - 1/2 chopped finely
Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoon
Coriander leaves - chopped finely
salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Procedure
1. Mix all the ingredients . Mash it so that the bread blends well with the flour and vegetables. Add water little by little.
2. For this recipe, little water is enough. If you take the dough you should be able to make small balls. More the water less the crispiness :-)
3. Deep fry until they are crisp and golden brown in colour. Serve it with sauce.
