Mango Ginger chutney

Ingredients
Mango - chopped finely - 1 big bowl
Ginger - 1 inch piece -2
Coconut - 4-5 tablespoons
Red chillies - 6-7(according to individuals spice level it can be more or less than this quantity)
Urad dhal - 2 teaspoons
Mustard - 1 tablespoon
Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste





Procedure

1. In a kadai add a teaspoon of oil. Add  red chillies and mustard seeds.
 2. Once it splutters, add urad dhal. Once it's golden in colour, add turmeric and ginger. Fry for a minute. Switch off the stove.


3. Once the above mixture cools down, first grind the mustard, chilly, urad dhal and ginger.
5. Then add half the mango and coconut. Grind without adding water.

6. Add the rest of the mango and salt. Grind to a coarse paste.

7.Serve it with hot rice and rasam. It can also be served with dosai.
