Ingredients
Onion-Medium size-2
Tomato-Medium size-1
Peanuts-3 Tablespoons
Red chillies-4
Coconut-3 Table spoons
Tamarind-one inch piece
Procedure
In a kadai, heat one teaspoon of oil.Roast the the chillies and peanuts.Keep it aside.In the same pan, cook the onion and tomato together.Once it's cooked add the coconut and cook for a minute.Once it cools down grind it with tamarind and salt to a smooth paste.
Season it with mustard and Hing powder.Goes well with Idli, Dosai and Kuzhi paniyaram.
PS: You can also use Channa Dhal instead of Peanuts.
